The meeting discussed the results of cooperation between the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Skolkovo Foundation. This interaction began in 2012, and the participants in the meeting highly appreciate the joint work.

“These 9 years provide an opportunity to increase cooperation, - said the chairman of the Fund Arkady Dvorkovich. - We believe that the regional operator in Yakutia is one of the best, it is constantly in the top three according to our estimates, including the number of startups and their quality. The republic constantly proposes specific solutions that are already being implemented in practice, including in medicine and in other socially significant areas. The technopark is actively working, we work closely with the North-Eastern Federal University. And now is the time to refresh those plans and re-negotiate the next 10 years. We plan to do this in 2022, the year of the centenary of the republic. "

During the meeting, the holding of the Days of Yakutia was also discussed within the framework of the international conference Startup village, which will be held in Skolkovo in May 2022. “At our main, flagship event for startups and investors from Russia and the world, we traditionally put up a large tent for investors. This time the republic will have the opportunity to put up its own tent. At least 800 investors are going there, and they will be the first to see startups from Yakutia, ”said Renat Batyrov, General Director of the Skolkovo Technopark. - You already have companies that show an example of how you can do global business from Yakutia. All this is not an accident, but the regularity of the right events, the right actions, the right decisions and the community of right people, which the republic is rich in ”.

It is expected that during the opening days of the Startup Village in Skolkovo, a serge will be installed in honor of the 100th anniversary of the YASSR.
