Russky Technopark launches the second module of

the Far Eastern Start program

Press release March, 8 2021

On March 1, the Far Eastern Start educational program by Russky Technopark has entered its second stage in the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU). The module will last for 8 weeks in the online format. During this time, the participants will develop their projects to the stage of minimum viable products and test them under the guidance of experienced trackers and advisers. The program also includes workshops on technological entrepreneurship in Russia and its legal aspects, networking sessions and case study as well as a special track from the Skolkovo Foundation on grant applications.

The first module of the Far Eastern Start gathered more than 450 students from 10 universities of the Russian Far East and resulted in the creation of 70 hi-tech projects. From October till December 2020 participants developed their ideas while learning how to put forward test hypotheses on their product, creating and justifying its value to the target audience, evaluating the prospects for development, and creating a test business model.

The Far Eastern Start is a joint project of FEFU and Russky Technopark aimed at the interaction between students of universities of the Russian Far East, educational organizations, entrepreneurs, development institutions, and regional authorities for the involvement of the region's youth in project activities and technological entrepreneurship.
