**About Daegu Technopark (TTP)**
In 1998, the Daegu Technopark (Daegu TP) Foundation has been established with the objective of forming a holistic and organic collaborative network consisting of academia, industry and government to drive the technological innovation of companies and advancement of regional industries, and to promote the creation of technology-intensive venture firms.
At present, Daegu Technopark has the sponsorship of the Government and Daegu Metropolitan City and the participation of Kyungpook University, Keimyung University, and Yeungjin Junior College, who are jointly conducting major projects such as technological innovation, start-up incubation, business support, informatization support and training.
Ultimately, Daegu Technopark will strive to become the hub of a Regional Innovation System (RIS) that will spearhead technological innovation of regional industries and creation of new technology venture firms by integrating the creativity of university students and support from the Central Government and local autonomies.
