
Chiang Mai University Science and Technology Park joins hands with two leading Korean universities to host a special lecture on smart materials and medical innovation.
On
3 September 2025, the
Science and Technology Park, Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with
Hanyang University and
Yonsei University from the Republic of Korea, organized a
Special Lecture at the Exhibition Hall, Administration Building, Northern Regional Science Park (Chiang Mai). The lecture was honored by
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jeong Jae Wie from Hanyang University, who presented on the topic
“Smart Polymers for Robotics and Green Energy”, and
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Choi Seung Ho from Yonsei University, who lectured on
“Smart Biomaterials and Biomedical Imaging for Next-Generation Healthcare.” The session was also joined by
Dr. Natthida Techaboon, Project Manager of the Science Park, along with faculty members, researchers, students, and many interested participants. The event was held to promote
academic collaboration between Thailand and the Republic of Korea, as well as to create opportunities for Thai personnel and researchers to exchange knowledge in
materials science, next-generation medical innovations, robotics technology, and green energy. This will contribute to advancing research and fostering future
commercial applications.
