
Gyeongbuk Technopark (Gyeongbuk TP, President Ha In-seong) and the Korea Intelligent Automotive Parts Promotion Institute (KIAPI, President Seo Jae-hyung) announced on June 10 that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to foster the advanced mobility industry and support innovative companies in the Gyeongbuk region.
The signing ceremony was attended by 13 officials from both organizations, including President Ha In-seong of Gyeongbuk TP. During the event, they discussed mutual cooperation strategies to promote the development and activation of the advanced mobility industry in the Gyeongbuk area.

Through this MOU, the two institutions aim to lay the foundation for the growth of the advanced mobility industry via regional initiatives such as the Gyeongbuk Industrial Transformation Governance Project and the Regional Innovation Cluster Development Project. The agreement is expected to contribute to promoting region-led R&D and technology commercialization, strengthening the linkage between central and regional policies, securing national funding, and establishing a regional innovation hub.
