Result of AEMA Market Research 2024 in Chiang Mai

*What is AEMA and Market Research?

 AEMA is short for ASPA Enterprise Member Alliance.

AEMA Korean Chapter was organized by representatives of ASPA enterprise members (manufacture based only) in Korea who are highly interests in global markets.

Any ASPA enterprise members in any countries can also organize their own chapter through the discussion with ASPA Secretariat. 

 AEMA Merket Research is ASPA's regional exchange activity, first launched in 2022, in order to provide ASPA enterprise members with opportunities of learning the industrial trend and market status in foreign countries before they enter the global markets.


AEMA Market Research for 2024 was held in Chiang Mai, Thailand on March 7 in cooperation with Science and Technology Park, Chiang Mai University (STeP). STeP is the headquarter of NSP, working in collaboration with other thirteen universities in the Northern region of Thailand. STeP operates on an open innovation concept, collaborating and building strong partnerships with both government agencies and the private firms in Thailand.


The whole program consisted of introduction of business, Thai-Kor exchange meeting and technical tour of facilities of STeP and its tenant company.

In the exchange meeting, representatives from 16 enterprised (9 Thai and 7 Korean) in the field of ICT HW/SW, automotive, machine, cosmetic, etc. participated in meet up and share the information about the direction where each industry in Thailand and Korea is heading for as well as the industrial trend at the moment. In particular, the focus in the meet up was on sharing point of view on preparation for future, such as business advancement through the introduction of unmanned and automated, which is currectly a global issue, and method to overcome the related side effects.

ASPA Secretariat hopes it was a meaningful time for all the participants to explore opportunities for technology exchange and strategies for entering the global market.

Some of the BOSCH technologies highlighted at the BOSCH Innovation House at CMU's STeP include connected building solutions, which help improve occupants' comfort, create more transparency into building operations, provide real-time information and increase building safety and security.

NSP tenant companies are exhibiting products produced using the technology and R&D services provided by NSP. Food and nutritional supplements, interior accessories, and beauty-related products are mainly displayed, and they can be purchased at a much lower price than the market price.
