Gunwoo Do, president of Daegu Technopark,

elected as Chairman of Korea Technopark Promotion Association

Gunwoo Do, president of Daegu Technopark, was elected as the 27th president of the Korea Technopark Promotion Association (KTPA) on the 14th. His term of office as KTPA Chairman is one year from January 1, 2024.

Established in 2006, KTPA is a non-profit corporation with 19 technoparks in Korea as members. It serves as a hub for establishing and revitalizing the exchange and cooperation system between the technopark, the central government, local governments, related organizations, and overseas organizations.

He had served as commissioner of Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone for three years since 2014. Also, he took office as president of Daegu Technopark in August, 2023 and has served as vice president of Korea Technopark Promotion Association since March, 2023.
